Hi,

Does anyone how to compile the latest source code? I need the latest in order to work with git.

I get the following:

Error 1 The "HgVersionFile" task could not be loaded from the assembly C:\Temp\open_source\MSBuild_Versioning\versioning_0ac84ff35eb4\MSBuildVersioning\..\References\MSBuildVersioning.dll. Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Temp\open_source\MSBuild_Versioning\versioning_0ac84ff35eb4\References\MSBuildVersioning.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Confirm that the <UsingTask> declaration is correct, that the assembly and all its dependencies are available, and that the task contains a public class that implements Microsoft.Build.Framework.ITask. C:\Temp\open_source\MSBuild_Versioning\versioning_0ac84ff35eb4\MSBuildVersioning\MSBuildVersioning.csproj 61 5 MSBuildVersioning

Follow the instructions at http://versioning.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Development

In particular, the error you're getting is because you need to do step 4.

works.

Though you also need to add -

Copy Version.Base.cs to Version.cs
